SEMIANNUAL ASSOCIATED BOARD OF THE ROYAL SCHOOLS OF MUSIC (ABRSM) EXAMINATION

The Royal Exam is an international standard of testing that is founded in England by the Associated Board of the Royal School of Music.  As the worldwide standard the ABRSM exam is an excellent reference point for contrasting a student's abilities with those of the international community and can also be useful on a college application should one choose to pursue a degree in music.  Please call our studio and request the availability of an ABRSM instructor in you wish to participate in this venue of examination.

CERTIFICATE OF MERIT (CM) EXAMINATION

Certificate of Merit is a statewide accredited standard of testing used by music schools all over California certified by the Music Teacher's Association of California.  Please call our studio and request availability of a CM certified instructor if you wish to participate in this venue of examination.

US OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION

For those who are serious about competing, the US open in a nationwide competition that provides an excellent foundation for building your student's confidence and furthering their skills.  If you are planning on enrolling in our academy please let one of our administrative staff know that you would be interested in competing. Whether it would be an immediate goal or something that you might like to do in the future (for example if you have a younger student who is not old enough for testing) we like to know so that we can provide you with the best possible service and accommodation.

MUSIC MAJOR AND CONSERVATORY PREPARATION

Let one of our dedicated staff know your intentions as soon as possible so that we can make special arrangements to tailor your lesson plan to appropriately guide you through the process of preparing for higher levels of musical education.
